About Warren Lasch
For the past 40 years, Mr. Warren Lasch has been an innovative leader in the trucking and transportation industry. Warren Lasch utilized his considerable talents most recently as the President of Precision Motor Transport Group in Okemos, Michigan. Over his 16-year tenure in this position, Warren Lasch shaped Precision Motor Transport Group into a respected leader in the automotive transportation industry and a multimillion-dollar enterprise. In 2008, Warren Lasch sold his controlling interest in Precision Motor Transport Group and stepped down from the role of President. Warren Lasch currently serves as Vice Chairman to the Board of Directors for Precision Motor Transport Group.
Warren Lasch began his career at Leaseway Transportation Corporation. Warren Lasch held a number of different positions during his tenure with the company, including Operations Manager, Group Head of Leaseway's Michigan Group, and Marketing and Sales Director. Upon leaving Leaseway, Warren Lasch followed his entrepreneurial instincts with the establishment of several successful transport companies. Two of these companies, Bavarian Motor Transport Inc. and Tri-Star Transport, Inc., which specialized in transporting BMW and Mercedes-Benz cars, respectively, would go on to become the core of Precision Motor Transport Group.
A dedicated philanthropist, Mr. Warren Lasch dedicated much of his time in the late 1990s to the famed Hunley Project, an effort to recover and restore the world�s first combat submarine, the H.L. Hunley. Through his work as Chairman of the nonprofit group Friends of the Hunley, which oversaw recovery efforts, Warren Lasch effectively coordinated the work of hundreds of individuals, including marine scientists, naval historians, and salvage/recovery experts. Because of his leadership on the Hunley Project, Warren Lasch appeared in a number of national and international media outlets and received numerous awards, including the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina's highest civilian honor.
